Who we are and who may use the site

CongDan.us (Công Dân Mỹ) is operated by Pacific Pulse Growth Lab LLC, a limited liability company based in Honolulu, Hawaii ("we", "us", "our"). The site offers free and paid study materials for the U.S. citizenship test in Vietnamese and English.

You must be at least 18 to buy a product. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must make the purchase and agree to these terms for you. The site is not directed to children under 13.

What we are, and what we are not

Công Dân Mỹ (CongDan.us) is a private education company, not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS or any government agency. We are not a law firm or DOJ-accredited representative, and we do not give legal advice, choose your answers, or fill out or file forms. Our products are not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. Studying does not guarantee you will pass. Official forms are free at uscis.gov.

Nothing on the site, in our products, or in our emails creates an attorney-client relationship between you and us. If you have a question about your own case, such as eligibility, a criminal record, travel, or a form, speak to a licensed immigration attorney or a DOJ-accredited representative. You can find free and low-cost help through the U.S. Department of Justice list of recognized organizations and accredited representatives.

Free content and paid products

The study tools on the site are free to use, and we may show advertising next to them. We may change, add, or remove free features at any time.

We sell two digital products: Premium (for one person) and Family/Gift (for a household, or as a gift). Each is a one-time payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically. The price shown at checkout, plus any taxes that apply, is the price you pay. Access is described as "lifetime", which means for as long as we offer the product, not for your lifetime. If we ever decide to stop offering a paid product, we will give you reasonable notice by email.

Your license to paid content

When you buy a product and the payment succeeds, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the paid content for your own study. The license is limited as follows:

• Premium: for one person only. Do not share your access with anyone else.
• Family/Gift: for up to 4 members of one household who live together. It is not for classes, businesses, or the public.
• Gift codes: a gift code can be redeemed once, by the person you give it to. It has no cash value, cannot be resold, and is not refundable once it has been redeemed, except as stated in the refund policy below.
• You may not resell, rent, lend, publish, or distribute the paid content, and you may not remove any copyright notice.
• You own nothing in the content beyond this license. We keep all rights not expressly granted.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy, you authorize the charge for the price shown, and you agree that the payment details you give are accurate and that you are allowed to use that payment method. We do not receive or store your full card number. Stripe's own terms and privacy policy apply to the payment.

Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund on every one-time purchase, with no questions asked. To get a refund, email aloha@pacificpulseai.com within 14 days of the purchase date and tell us the email you used to buy. We will refund the full amount to your original payment method. Your bank may take several business days to show it. After a refund, access to the paid content ends.

For a gift, the purchaser may ask for the refund within 14 days of purchase, whether or not the code has been redeemed, and the code will be deactivated. After 14 days we do not give refunds, except where the law requires it or where you were charged in error or more than once. Please contact us before you start a dispute with your bank, because we can usually fix a problem faster. Nothing here limits any rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

Accuracy, no guarantee, and automated feedback

We work to keep the questions and answers accurate and current, but the official test, the rules, and the answers to some questions can change, and some answers depend on where you live or on who holds an office. Always check the current official information at uscis.gov before your interview.

We do not guarantee that you will pass the test, be approved for citizenship, or get any other result. Your interview is decided by the officer who meets you, not by us.

Some features, such as the practice interview and answer checking, give automated feedback and may use artificial intelligence. Automated feedback can be wrong or incomplete. It is a study aid, not an official evaluation, a prediction of your result, or legal advice. Do not rely on it for decisions about your case.

Voice practice

The voice practice feature uses your browser's or device's built-in speech recognition. Your browser or operating system may send your audio to its own speech service. How that works is controlled by that company, and speech recognition can mishear you, especially with accents. We do not record or store your audio. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

Use the site lawfully and fairly. You agree not to:

• break the law or help anyone else do so;
• try to break into, overload, probe, or disrupt the site, our accounts, or our service providers;
• use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to copy the site or its content;
• share, resell, or publish paid content, or use a gift code you did not lawfully receive;
• send us unlawful, abusive, or misleading messages through the contact form;
• claim that CongDan.us is a government site or that it is endorsed by USCIS or any agency, or use our name to mislead others.

Intellectual property

The site design, text, translations, explanations, audio, software, and the CongDan.us and Công Dân Mỹ names and logos belong to Pacific Pulse Growth Lab LLC or our licensors and are protected by law. The official civics questions and answers are published by USCIS and are public information, but our selection, explanations, and translations are ours.

If you send us feedback or a message, you allow us to use your ideas to improve the site without owing you anything. We will not publish your name or message as a testimonial without your permission.

Third-party services and links

The site uses third-party services such as Stripe, Resend, and Google, and links to other websites such as uscis.gov. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for them. Advertisements are provided by Google and other third parties, and showing an ad is not an endorsement of the advertiser.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and all content and products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we and our owners, officers, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or delays or denials in any immigration or citizenship matter, arising from your use of the site or products.

Our total liability to you for any claim related to the site or a product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 50 U.S. dollars if you paid nothing. Some places do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the site, and we will refund you for the unused paid product if the suspension was not caused by your breach. You may stop using the site at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, disclaimers, limits of liability, and governing law, continue after termination.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, please contact us at aloha@pacificpulseai.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, any claim must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of the page, and for material changes we will give notice on the site or by email. Changes apply going forward and do not change the terms of a purchase you already made, except to comply with the law. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.

General

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the site. If a part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a right right away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our written consent.
